Romans 12:2: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,,,,,,
As I sat watering the plants, herbs and flowers in the many containers on my patio, I noticed one pot in particular that had many identical seedlings growing. It was lush and green and should have been one of my many growing accomplishments. However, I remembered that I had only planted two yellow bell pepper seeds in this container. I gazed intensely into the pot trying to distinguish which seedlings were the bell peppers. Alas, I threw up my hands and surrendered to my epic fail. This container had become overgrown with weeds. I would never be able to distinguish the bell pepper seedlings. This conundrum reminded me of the verse which details how Christians should be set apart from the world. On some level, your lifestyle should not be so confusing that someone can’t see that you are set apart. You should be happy living a life for Christ.
Question: Do you look and act like everybody in the world? What sets you apart?
